JA presents... EmPOWER LUNCH!
Junior Achievement of Manitoba is hosting a fundraising lunch on May 23rd, 2012. Featuring guest speaker General Rick Hillier (Ret.), former Canadian Chief of Defence.
General Hillier will be discussing his perspectives on leadership to Winnipeg’s business community. He will also call upon his past experiences and his role in the military. He is one of Canada’s most dynamic speakers and is sure to inspire and entertain all those in attendance. This is our only fundraising event this year and it is very important that we sell out to raise much needed funds for our organization.
Attendees will include members of the business community, along with students from JA's Company Program - an after-school program where students design, organize and operate a real business with the guidance of business volunteers.
