Give students the building blocks of a successful career, right here at home. Our Community - Needs, Jobs, Tools provides elementary school students with perspective on the importance and impact of business in shaping our lives. Students actively define the cornerstones of a strong society and learn about their role in its growth and prosperity. Get Back to Their Roots Demonstrate the value of skills, money and resources by exploring various family and economic situations. Our Community - Needs, Jobs, Tools gives students a first-hand look at how they can become better prepared for business and make a positive impact in their community. Ensure future success builds upon a solid foundation of home-grown knowledge and skills. • Practice interviewing people with job experience • Role-play and imitate the characteristics of different jobs • Complete the cycle of earning and spending • Create a mural to illustrate and describe tools in the workplace

Like other Junior Achievement programs, Our Community is curriculum-linked, student centered and skills focused. It is delivered by a qualified business volunteer at no cost to schools or groups.
